Joseph Ratzinger ha annunciato l'istituzione di un Tribunale presso la
Congregazione per la dottrina della fede da lui presieduta, per
giudicare gli abusi sessuali compiuti da preti e vescovi.
Il Tribunale avrà il compito di stabilire le sanzioni per i crimini più
gravi commessi dagli esponenti della Chiesa, inclusi i reati sessuali, e
di applicarle secondo il Diritto Canonico.

Ratzinger has announced the institution of a Court at the Congregation
for the doctrine of faith presided over by him, to judge the
sexual abuses committed by priests and bishops.
The Court will have the task to determine the sanctions for the worst
crimes comitted by the exponents of the Church, sexual crimes included,
and to apply these according to the Canon law.
