Usa. Cinque stati: Tennessee, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas e Mississippi hanno denunciato il Vaticano. Monsignor Emilio Colagiovanni viene accusato di frode e associazione a delinquere, in merito alla vicenda di Martin Frankel, il finanziere accusato di aver frodato 215 milioni di dollari a investitori di mezzo mondo.

Il mullah Mohammed Omar si rifà vivo, secondo quanto riferisce il quotidiano arabo Asharq al-Awsat. Il capo dei Talebani dice: "Non consideriamo finita la guerra in Afghanistan - La battaglia è cominciata e il suo fuoco raggiungerà la Casa Bianca, perché è il centro delle ingiustizie e della tirannia". Omar ha detto anche che bin Laden, grazie a Dio, è ancora vivo e questo danneggia Bush, che ha promesso al suo popolo di uccidere Osama.

The mullah Muhammed Omar is alive, according to what the Arab newspaper Asharq al-Awsat refers. The leader of the Talebans says: "We don't consider the war in Afghanistan over - The battle has started and its fire will reach the White House, because it is the center of injustice and tyranny". Omar said also that bin Laden, thanks to Allah, is still alive and this harms Bush, who has promised to his people to kill Osama.
