I n questi giorni continua la fiammata di calore chiamata "Caronte" e "Lucifero". Prendendo l'occasione da questi nomi infernali, a proposito di San Francesco ricordiamo che dopo aver ammansito il lupo di Gubbio, il grande Santo amato e conosciuto da tutto il mondo, esortò ad aver terrore più che delle fauci di un lupo, delle fauci dell'inferno. Caronte, il nocchiero che nella Divina Commedia traghetta le anime all'inferno, come fiammata di calore passerà, ma ci serva a riflettere che le fiamme dell'inferno non passeranno mai!In these days the blaze of heat called "Charon" and "Lucifer" continues. Taking the occasion from these infernal names, with regard to Saint Francis we recall that after taming the wolf of Gubbio, the great Saint known and loved all over the world, urged to have terror more than of the fauces of a wolf, of the fauces of hell. Charon, the helmsman that in the Divine Comedy ferries the souls to hell, as a blaze of heat will pass, but it may help us to reflect that the flames of hell are not going to pass forever!
