Londra -- Papa Benedetto XVI nella sua visita in Inghilterra ha confessato la sua vergogna (nella foto si asciuga gli occhi) per gli 'impronunciabili' abusi sessuali di bambini da parte di preti. Con questa visita (evento storico) il Papa ha lasciato un bellissimo, significativo ricordo che porterà i suoi frutti. Vogliamo qui citare un passo del Nuovo Testamento: -Siano rese grazie a Dio, il quale ci fa partecipare al suo trionfo in Cristo e diffonde per mezzo nostro il profumo della sua conoscenza nel mondo intero! Noi siamo infatti dinanzi a Dio il profumo di Cristo fra quelli che si salvano e fra quelli che si perdono; per gli uni odore di morte per la morte e per gli altri odore di vita per la vita.- (2 Corinzi 2, 14-16) London -- Pope Benedict XVI during his visit in Britain confessed that he was ashamed (in the photo wiping his eyes) of the 'unspeakable' sexual abuse of children by priests. With this visit (historic event) the Pope has left a most beautiful and significant memory which will bear its fruit. Sergio Marchionne amministratore della Fiat ha dichiarato che il mercato dell'auto sarà in flessione nei prossimi mesi e ha accusato l'Unione Europea "di mancanza di senso della realtà" sui temi ambientali. Al congresso sulla stampa cattolica aveva detto: L’idea di vivere "come se Dio non esistesse" si è dimostrata deleteria: il mondo ha bisogno piuttosto di vivere "come se Dio esistesse", anche se non c’è la forza di credere, altrimenti esso produce solo un "umanesimo disumano". At the congress on catholic press he had said: The idea of living "as if God did not exist" has proved deleterious:the world rather needs to live "as if God did exist", even if there isn't any strength to believe, otherwise it produces only an "inhuman humanism".

Il Premier Silvio Berlusconi mentre racconta in privato la barzelletta  che prende in giro la Presidente del più grosso partito di opposizione Rosi Bindi. Nel fotogramma Berlusconi quando nel finale della barzelletta, mima un uomo che si accorge della "bruttezza" della Bindi ed esclama "orcodio": questa la "bestemmia" che ha scatenato una marea di accuse e contestazioni. Noi come Cristiani vogliamo solo citare questo passo del Vangelo: Chi non è con me è contro di me, e chi non raccoglie con me, disperde. Perciò io vi dico: Qualunque peccato e bestemmia sarà perdonata agli uomini, ma la bestemmia contro lo Spirito non sarà perdonata.
