Abbiamo trovato in un interessante blog questo articolo che pubblichiamo perché realistico,
scritto molto bene e nella lingua originale di Papa Francesco.
Lo pubblichiamo anche se riguarda il mese di Marzo 2013, perchè tratta di un evento storico ed eccezionale.

Un hombre, que se identificó como Massimo Coppo, originario de Asís, estuvo largas horas en la plaza bajo la lluvia, vestido con un raído hábito franciscano y descalzo, rezando devotamente por la elección del Papa. De un artículo de “Religión en libertad” firmado por Pablo J. Ginés, copio lo que sigue a continuación: Quizá en el futuro se cuente la historia de cómo el mismísimo San Francisco de Asís, el poverello, estuvo rezando, descalzo, bastón, de rodillas, varios días bajo la lluvia, milagrosamente visible el 12 y 13 de marzo de 2013 en la Plaza de San Pedro, y cómo después un Papa hispanoamericano salió al balcón con el nombre, insólito, de Francisco. Pero la realidad es que sí había un hombre vestido como Francisco, descalzo como Francisco, humilde y paciente bajo la lluvia como Francisco, estos días en la Plaza de san Pedro. Se llama Massimo Coppo, es italiano, tiene 64 años. Vestía un hábito franciscano de yute, llevaba bastón, un bolso al hombro, y en la Plaza de San Pedro rezaba descalzo y de rodillas bajo la lluvia y el frío. Rezó y rezó. Explicó a los periodistas que quería "un nuevo pontífice para los pobres y que se acerque a ellos, que hable de la eternidad, del infierno y del retorno de Cristo". Massimo no es San Francisco, pero sin duda San Francisco puede estar satisfecho de haber sido bien representado.

in ginocchio su una chiavica sotto la pioggia per pregare per un Papa francescano che amasse i poveri.

on his knees on a cloaca under the rain to pray for a franciscan Pope who loved the poor.

Magdi Allam convertitosi alla fede cattolica e battezzato da Papa Benedetto XVI nel 2008, ha dichiarato di lasciare la Chiesa Cattolica, in particolare per certi gesti e affermazioni fatte dagli ultimi due Papi in spirito di apertura con l’Islam. Comprendo e in parte condivido certe sue argomentazioni ma non il fatto di abbandonare la Chiesa, come fosse un partito politico a cui poter aderire o di cui dissociarsi a piacimento. La Chiesa è e rimane una realtà spirituale, è Madre Chiesa e una madre non si lascia mai, anche se come suoi figli, divenuti tali col battesimo dobbiamo dirle con umiltà dove sta sbagliando. Ed è vero che nel Corano si legge testualmente che “i Giudei pretendono di aver ucciso il Messia....mentre non l'hanno nè ucciso nè crocifisso” (4 Sura, vv. 157-158). E questo contraddice palesemente la verità centrale del credo cattolico: Cristo Crocifisso, il Figlio di Dio, l’amore di Dio che si è fatto uccidere come un agnello per i nostri peccati, e nell’Eucarestia continua ad offrire il suo sangue e la sua carne per la nostra salvezza. Magdi Allam converted to the Catholic faith and baptized by Pope Benedict XVI in 2008, declaired to leave the Catholic Church, in particular for certain gestures and statements made by the last two Popes in a spirit of openness with the Islam. I understand and partially agree with some of his arguments, but not with the fact of leaving the Church, like a political party to which one can adhere or from which one can dissociate at pleasure. The Church is and remains a spiritual reality, she is Mother Church and one never abandons a mother, although as her children, having become such through the baptism, we must tell her with humility where she is wrong. And it is true that in the Koran one reads verbatim that "the Jews pretend to have killed the Messiah.... they have neither killed nor crucified him" (4th Sura, vv. 157-158). And this clearly contradicts the central truth of the catholic creed: Christ Crucified, the Son of God, the love of God who let himself to be killed like a lamb for our sins, and in the Eucharist continues to offer his blood and his flesh for our salvation. Da Assisi a Piazza San Pietro prega per il nuovo Papa e commuove i fedeli.
Ha pregato per ore sotto la pioggia, inginocchiato in Piazza S. Pietro, sulla grata di una fogna, durante la messa officiata nella basilica dai 115 cardinali.

Massimo, un laico di 64 anni, e' arrivato da Assisi, vestito con un sacco di iuta, con un bastone e a piedi nudi. I fedeli, commossi, gli si sono avvicinati: una ragazza lo ha riparato dalla pioggia con un ombrello; ma c'e' stato anche chi ha pregato con lui. 'Auspico che il prossimo pontefice possa essere un francescano' ha detto.

From Assisi to St. Peter's Square he prays for the new Pope moving the hearts of the faithful. He prayed for hours in the rain, on his knees in S.Peter’s Square, on the grating of a cloaca, during the Mass celebrated in the basilica by 115 cardinals.

Massimo, a layman of 64 years, has arrived from Assisi, dressed in a jute-sackcloth, with a stick and barefoot. The faithful, moved, have approached him: a young woman has sheltered him from the rain with an umbrella, but there was also who prayed with him. 'I hope that the next Pope will be a Franciscan' he said.

Pubblichiamo questa foto e il messaggio che l’accompagna, tra le tante e-mail pervenute all’Associazione IACA, l’associazione di volontariato cristiano che sostiene ad Assisi la Comunità Famiglie di Betlemme di cui fa parte Massimo Coppo, in occasione della sua missione di penitenza e preghiera al Vaticano, per l’elezione del nuovo Pontefice. La foto, uscita sul Corriere della Sera con la didascalia “un pellegrino resta a pregare sotto l’acquazzone in Piazza san Pietro”, mostra Massimo, vestito di sacco e a piedi nudi, in ginocchio per molte ore durante lo svolgimento del Conclave, su una chiavica di Piazza San Pietro: come segno di umiliazione di chi si sente indegno di pregare per un’elezione così importante nella storia della Chiesa. Questo penitente di Assisi insieme a tanti altri con lui, in particolare in Assisi, esulteranno poi all’annuncio che il nuovo Papa assumerà il nome di “Francesco”. L’Arcivescovo di Perugia e Presidente della Conferenza Episcopale Umbra, Gualtiero Bassetti, si è detto commosso, affermando con molto coraggio e umiltà che questa scelta si rifà al mandato che il Signore affidò a San Francesco: «Francesco, va e ripara la mia chiesa che, come vedi, è tutta in rovina!»

We publish this picture and the message that goes with it, among the many e-mails received by the Association IACA, the volunteer christian association who supports in Assisi the Community Families of Bethlehem of which is a member Massimo Coppo, on the occasion of his mission of penance and prayer at the Vatican, for the election of the new Pontiff. The photo, appeared on the “Corriere della Sera” with the caption "a pilgrim keeps on praying under the cloudburst in St. Peter's Square," shows Massimo, dressed in a sackcloth and barefooted, kneeling for many hours during the course of the Conclave, on a cloaca of St.Peter's Square: as a sign of humiliation of who feels unworthy to pray for an election so important in the history of the Church. This penitent of Assisi, together with many others with him especially in Assisi, will rejoice then at the announcement that the new Pope will assume the name of "Francis". The Archbishop of Perugia and President of the Umbrian Episcopal Conference, Gualtiero Bassetti, said to have been deeply moved, affirming with a lot of courage and humility that this choice is inspired by the mandate that the Lord gave to St. Francis: "Francis, go and repair my church which, as you see, is all in ruins!"

Enrico Letta, del PD, cattolico professante, nel suo discorso sulla fiducia al Parlamento, ha citato l’appello rivolto da Papa Francesco ai giovani, perché scommettano su cose grandi; ed ha evocato l’episodio biblico di Davide e Golia, esempio di coraggio e fiducia. Come credenti pur non identificandoci con una formazione politica siamo chiamati a pregare per le autorità costituite, quindi auspichiamo che Dio benedica questo governo e chi lo presiede per il bene del nostro paese.

Italy has again as its President Giorgio Napolitano, aged 88. Pope Francis has sent him his apostolic benediction, praising the great availability and the spirit of sacrifice with which he accepted the new mandate. If the prayer of the "pilgrim of Assisi" kneeling in St. Peter's Square, which has impressed the whole world, obtained from God a Pope named Francis, much more we believe that the prayer and the blessing of our Pope will enlighten and support the actions of the President Napolitano, especially in defense and aid of the poorest.

Grillo: "L'Italia in autunno andrà in bancarotta", si definisce "furbo", ma a noi queste sue dichiarazioni in campo internazionale, ci sembrano il contrario e anzi autolesionistiche anche per l'Italia! San Francesco, con cui a detta di Grillo il Movimento 5 Stelle è molto "affine" e per questo l’ha fatto nascere il 4 Ottobre del 2009 festa del Santo, salvò dalla carestia (crisi) la sua amata Greccio, dove istituì il primo presepe, chiamando gli abitanti a conversione, e la prosperità tornò su quel paese. Ogni più funesta previsione economica può essere smentita dalla benevolenza di Dio!

Dopo la strage di Boston continuano tragedie e disastri ambientali nel paese più potente del mondo. Una vera maledizione! Ma ormai “la mia ira è sopra la terra e il mia furore s’infiamma”, si legge in una delle profezie di Marcello Ezechiele Ciai (Il Mantello). Che fare allora? Preghiamo e convertiamoci veramente a Dio che pur sempre, come sta scritto (Lamentazioni 3,31-32): “contro il suo desiderio umilia e affligge i figli dell’uomo. Ma, se affligge avrà anche pietà secondo la sua grande misericordia”.

But by now “my wrath is upon the earth and my rage burns," one reads in a prophecy of Marcello Ezekiel Ciai (The Mantle). What to do? Let’s pray and really convert ourselves to God who still, as it is written (Lamentations 3,31-32): "does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone. But although he brings grief, he will show compassion, according to the abundance of his unfailing love”.

I vostri iniqui pensieri hanno sconvolto tutte le cose belle da me, per voi create. Ed è per questo che sventura e terrore arriveranno su di voi. Non ricercate le vie antiche e vi preparate i vostri sepolcri."

In a prophecy of Marcello Ezekiel Ciai of 1995 (from "To the Pleasure Seeking City") there is written: "Nobody takes to heart the cause of the poor.... I make it rain according to the seasons, I have created the sowing and the grape harvest; but you are only able to get drunk on your own ideas. Your wicked thoughts have ruined all the beautiful things created by me, for you. Therefore misfortune and terror will come upon you. You don't seek the ancient ways, and prepare yourselves your tombs."

Morte e devastazione nell’Argentina di Papa Francesco: più di 50 vittime a Buenos Aires per un’eccezionale alluvione.
“Sarà un Papa che dovrà molto soffrire”, ha ripetuto spesso Massimo Coppo, il pellegrino di Assisi scalzo e vestito di sacco,
a Piazza San Pietro ai tanti che lo interpellavano, prima e dopo l’elezione del nuovo Pontefice.
Per Papa Francesco le sofferenze sono già iniziate.

Il Presidente della Repubblica Giorgio Napolitano ha nominato dieci saggi come ultimo tentativo per risolvere la crisi di governo. Ma cos'è la saggezza? Innanzitutto non la si studia ma, come noi crediamo, solo Dio può darla. Se i nostri saggi si lasciassero guidare dalla sapienza di Dio, la crisi istituzionale in cui si trova l'Italia sarebbe presto risolta, come nella Chiesa si è prontamente risolta la mancanza di governo creatasi dalle dimissioni di Papa Benedetto XVI. Senza Dio la sapienza umana diventa stoltezza; come si legge in una delle profezie di Marcello Ezechiele Ciai, chiamata "Profetizza!":

I più bravi dei consiglieri del presidente formano un consiglio stupido.
Come possono dire: “Io vengo da scuole e maestri illustri ?!”
Dove sono dunque i tuoi grandi sapienti ?
Ti rivelino loro quanto ha deciso il Signore degli eserciti contro la superbia.
Sono divenuti stupidi i sapienti e ingannano gli illustri maestri,
tanto da far sbagliare tutti i loro capi.
Il Signore ha mandato sui capi uno spirito di traviamento
che li fa muovere in ogni cosa come ubriachi nel loro vomito.

The President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano has appointed ten "wise men" as the last attempt to resolve the government crisis. But what is wisdom? Firstly, it can't be studied but, as we believe, only God can give it. If our wise men would let themselves be guided by the wisdom of God, the institutional crisis in which Italy finds itself could be solved soon, as in the Church the absence of government created by the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI has been promptly settled. Without God the human wisdom becomes stupidity; as one reads in one of the prophecies of Marcello Ezekiel Ciai, called "Prophesy !":

The most clever of the president's advisers form a stupid council.
How can they say: "I come from famous schools and teachers ?!"
Where are they then your great wise men?
Let them reveal to you what the Lord of Hosts has decided against pride.
The wise men have become stupid and deceive the famous teachers,
as to lead astray all their leaders.
The Lord has sent a spirit of misleading on all the leaders that makes
them move in every way like drunkards in their own vomit.

In St. Peter's Square Pope Francis invites the young people to Rio de Janeiro. Massimo in the photo, surrounded by young people who want to know about his Franciscan Mission, invites them to come to Assisi to join him in his prophetic witness - it’s the time of the two prophets of Revelation, wearing sackcloth...

"Non voglio morire", sono le ultime parole del Presidente Venezuelano Chavez. Ma la pur buona volontà di un uomo che tante cose ha saputo realizzare, non può più nulla. "Ho fatto una cavolata", ha lasciato scritto su un foglietto Davide Rossi, direttore delle comunicazioni della famosa banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, prima di gettarsi dalla finestra del suo ufficio. Ma la più grande "cavolata" della storia l’ha fatta proprio un altro suicida, Giuda, che ha tradito per 30 denari e poi, anziché pentirsi e chiedere perdono, si è suicidato. Eppure, nell’insondabile sapienza di Dio questo ha portato al più grande bene per l’umanità, perché per la morte e la risurrezione di Gesù Cristo, chiunque crede in Lui ha salvezza e vita eterna.

"What a blunder I’ve made": that’s what Davide Rossi, director of communications of the famous bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena, left written on a piece of paper, before throwing himself from the window of his office. But the biggest "blunder" of history was done just by another suicide, Judas, who betrayed for 30 pieces of silver and then, instead of repenting and asking forgiveness, committed suicide. Yet, in the unfathomable wisdom of God this has led to the greatest good for humanity, because for the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, whoever believes in Him has salvation and eternal life.
