Lago Trasimeno, Isola Maggiore: luogo dove, nel 1211 approdò San Francesco per uno dei suoi ritiri quaresimali.
Otto secoli dopo Marcello Ezechiele Ciai, un uomo della terra di Assisi che al Trasimeno aveva avuto una soprannaturale visione, si dette a ritiri quaresimali di penitenza, preghiera e digiuno, per amore della Chiesa e di un mondo sempre più dilaniato da tanti mali e calamità. Da anni il suo discepolo Massimo Coppo sta notte e giorno ad Assisi e presso la Basilica di San Francesco, col sacco e scalzo in penitenza per continuare a vivere e far rivivere in tanti il senso salvifico della penitenza cristiana.

Eight centuries later, Marcello Ezekiel Ciai, a man of the land of Assisi who at the Trasimeno lake had a supernatural vision, gave himself to lenten retreats of penance, prayer and fasting for the love of the Church and a world increasingly torn by so many evils and disasters. Since years his disciple, Massimo Coppo; night and day stays in Assisi and near the Basilica of Saint Francis, in sackcloth and barefoot in penance, to keep on living and many others relive the redeeming sense of christian penance.

Oggi la marea nera e le nubi radioattive s'incontrano per una morsa mortale sulla terra.
In migliaia di coste si trova nascosto petrolio e la memoria dell'acqua fa il resto. Le nubi radioattive circolano sopra la terra e la pioggia fa il resto.
Che sarà di questa nostra terra al cui dramma si aggiungono guerre e profughi?
Chi ha fede come noi aspetta nuovi cieli e nuova terra come sta scritto nella Bibbia nella seconda lettera del primo Papa:
2 Pietro 3,13 - E poi, secondo la Sua promessa, noi aspettiamo nuovi cieli e una terra nuova,
nei quali avrà stabile dimora la giustizia.

Today the black tide and the radioactive clouds meet for a mortal grip on the earth.

Who has faith as we do waits for new heavens and a new earth just as it is written in the Bible in the second letter of the first Pope:

All'inquinamento fin'ora conosciuto anche dopo la marea nera, si aggiunge la radioattività in mare che proviene ora dal Giappone
sia tramite l'acqua contaminata, sia tramite le nuvole cariche di radioattività...
