The tragedy of the German plane crashed in the French Alps, creates new dismay and fear in the skies, in a time already marked by the growth of terrorism on the earth and by recurrent massacres of immigrants in the sea. More burning than ever is the question of whether there is a reason behind so many disasters, calamities and humanitarian catastrophes that are devastating this tormented beginning of the century, which started with the collapse of the Twin Towers. For those who do not believe in God, there is just to resign in the hands of an incomprehensible and often cruel fatality. But those who believe in the words of Jesus and of the Bible, know that the last times of history, preceding the return of Christ, will be times of great tribulation, "such as has not been from the beginning of the world... and never wll be,"  said Jesus (Matthew 24, 21). "People will faint from fear..." ( Luke 21,25).
A woman, interviewed at the exit of a church on the air tragedy, said that she was "angry with God." But the Word of God says that indeed the wrath of God looms on a world rebellious  to Him and His love, and closed in his selfishness and opportunism. What to do? "Repent until you are in time!", one reads in a prophecy of Marcello Ezekiel Ciai  the "prophet of Assisi" "my wrath is upon the earth ... and the great day is near!"  Words received by a man whose suffering prophetic vocation is completely directed not to spread alarmism, but to help people, the Church, the whole humanity. "Repent": in practice to seek humility and the fear of God, to pray heartely and continuously, to open ones heart to the love of God and of the neighbour...

The celebrations of the 750th anniversary of the birth of Dante Alighieri, born in Florence in 1265, have begun.

"He showed what our language could do”: this passage of “Purgatory”, which refers to Virgil, is often applied to Dante himself, who is considered the father of the Italian language.

But
Dante, taking seriously the Word of God, above all showed that "in the after life" there is indeed a Paradise of unimaginable spiritual joys, but unfortunately also a dreadful Hell from which there is no escape ever again, for the eternity.

And
a Purgatory in which the atoning souls have to endure very painful sufferings: it’s well worthy to amend in this life, while we have time...
