Washington - Una folla di Gay esulta davanti alla Corte Suprema degli USA che ha legittimato il matrimonio tra persone dello stesso sesso, addirittura gridando con Obama: "Dio benedica l'America!" Ma quale Dio invocano? Il Dio della rivelazione cristiana, il Dio delle Sacre Scritture, condanna apertamente l'omosessualità: "Non illudetevi" - sta scritto nel Nuovo Testamento - "né immorali...né effeminati, né sodomiti...erediteranno il regno di Dio!" In realtà la nazione più potente del mondo, anziché essere "benedetta", è colpita da crescenti e ripetuti flagelli, dalle Torri Gemelle al disastro ambientale del Golfo del Messico, dagli uragani che mettono in fuga città intere a calamità, tragedie e difficoltà e contrasti economico-politici, e di ogni tipo. Siamo piuttosto nei tempi dell'ira su un mondo ribelle a Dio e al suo Cristo, siamo nei "tempi di Sodoma": si salvi chi può!

Washington - A crowd of Gay rejoices in front of the U.S. Supreme Court that has legitimized the wedding between persons of the same sex, even shouting with Obama: "God bless America!" But which God are they invoking? The God of Christian revelation, the God of the Holy Scriptures, openly condemns homosexuality: "Do not be deceived" - is written in the New Testament - "neither sexually immoral...nor effeminate, nor homosexuals...shall inherit the kingdom of God!" Indeed the most powerful nation in the world, instead of being "blessed", is hit by growing and repeated scourges, from the Twin Towers to the environmental disaster of the Gulf of Mexico, from hurricanes that put entire cities to flight, to calamities, tragedies, difficulties and contrasts economical-political and of every kind. We are rather in the time of the wrath on a world rebellious to God and his Christ, we're in "the times of Sodom": every man for himself!

"San Pietro non aveva un conto in banca, si devono portare avanti le opere della Chiesa, e alcune sono un po’ complesse; ma con cuore di povertà, non con cuore di investimento o di un imprenditore". Non hanno bisogno di commento queste ultime esternazioni di Papa Francesco, che ho riportato qui così come me le hanno riferite. A quanti, tra le tante persone che incontro ad Assisi, mi chiedono a quale ordine religioso appartengo, rispondo che la comunità “Famiglie di Betlemme” di cui faccio parte - di ispirazione benedettina, da 33 anni ad Assisi - non è un ordine, ma piuttosto un “disordine” religioso. Peccatori, con tante contraddizioni: ma, a cominciare da chi ha fondato la comunità - Marcello Ciai - abbiamo cercato sempre di organizzare solamente il nostro cuore per giungere a un vero amore per il prossimo. Assisi - Le campane suonano a festa per l’annuncio che Papa Francesco verrà in visita il prossimo 4 Ottobre, per la festa di San Francesco. “Assisi Assisi!... anche il Papa ha preso il nome da San Francesco… dà gloria al tuo Dio”: così canta ora Massimo Coppo per le strade e le piazze di Assisi. Quel Papa “povero e vicino ai poveri” per la cui elezione Massimo è stato a pregare in ginocchio a Piazza San Pietro nei due giorni del Conclave, viene nella Città della Pace: la pace vera, che si può trovare solo in Cristo, come avvenne per San Francesco che salutava dicendo “Il Signore ti dia pace!”

Città del Vaticano - Nella Sala Nervi, al concerto annuale dell’orchestra della Rai in onore del Papa, una sola sedia vuota: quella di Papa Francesco. Indubbiamente lo stile di vita di questo Pontefice è tutta un'altra musica da quello dei suoi predecessori. La sua scelta di non fare le vacanze nella residenza estiva dei Papi a Castel Gandolfo, fa pensare a San Francesco che fece una sua “vacanza” nell’Isola Maggiore del Lago Trasimeno, digiunandovi per 40 giorni con un solo crostino di pane. Per contrasto, a riguardo della dimora estiva di Giovanni Paolo II in Val d’Aosta, una profezia di Marcello Ezechiele Ciai del 1995 così tuonava: “...dalla casa in montagna si affaccia anche a proclamare. Oh ignominia per la mia Chiesa, chi mi potrà fermare?”.

There is no doubt that the life style of this Pontiff, sounds as quite a different music from that one of his predecessors. His choice not to spend his holidays in the summer residence of the Popes at Castel Gandolfo, makes one think of St Francis who took one of his "holidays" in the Isola Maggiore of the Trasimeno Lake, fasting there for 40 days with only one small piece of bread. By contrast, for what regards the summer residence of Pope John Paul II in the Aosta Valley, a prophecy of Marcello Ezekiel Ciai of the year 1995 thus thundered: "...from the house on the mountain he even looks out to proclaim. Oh, infamy for my Church, who will succeed in stopping me?".

Le piogge non cessano di flagellare l’Europa centrale provocando alluvioni, vittime, dispersi, e danni ingentissimi; mentre negli Stati Uniti infuriano i tornado, mettendo in fuga o radendo al suolo intere città. Ma che sta succedendo su questo nostro globo, dove anche i terremoti dal 2000 in poi stanno aumentando in modo sorprendente? “Io, faccio piovere secondo le stagioni, Io, ho creato la semina e la vendemmia; ma voi siete solo capaci di ubriacarvi delle vostre idee. I vostri iniqui pensieri hanno sconvolto tutte le cose belle da me, per voi create” si legge in una profezia di Marcello Ezechiele Ciai del 1995 (Alla Città Gaudente) “ed è per questo che sventura e terrore arriveranno su di voi. Non ricercate le vie antiche e vi preparate i vostri sepolcri.” Catastrofismo apocalittico? Chi si fida e si affida alle parole di Gesù, nel Vangelo legge che negli ultimi tempi che precedono il suo ritorno “vi saranno di luogo in luogo terremoti… e angoscia di popoli in ansia per il fragore del mare e dei suoi flutti, mentre gli uomini moriranno per la paura e per l’attesa di ciò che dovrà accadere sulla terra” (San Luca 21:11; 25-26). Cosa fare? Convertiamoci a Gesù e al suo Vangelo eterno!

Your wicked thoughts have ruined all the beautiful things created by me, for you” one reads in a prophecy of Marcello Ezekiel Ciai of the year 1995 (To the pleasure seeking City) “therefore misfortune and terror will come upon you. You don't seek the ancient ways, and prepare yourselves your tombsI” Apocalyptic alarmism? He who trusts and relies on the words of Jesus, in the Gospel reads that in the last times that precede his return "there will be great earthquakes in different places… and distress among nations confused by the roaring of the sea and the waves, while people will die from fear and foreboding of what is coming upon the world” (Saint Luke 21: 11; 25-26). What to do? Let’s convert to Jesus and to his everlasting Gospel!

Genova - Nella cerimonia funebre officiata per Don Andrea Gallo, il Cardinale Angelo Bagnasco dà l’Eucarestia all’ex parlamentare e “trans” Vladimir Luxuria. “Venite a me voi tutti che siete affaticati e oppressi…e io vi ristorerò” dice Gesù nel Vangelo: questa sì che è una “buona notizia”, ma riservata solo a quanti, come dice nello stesso passo evangelico, vogliono “imparare” da Lui riconoscendosi peccatori bisognosi del suo perdono e del suo aiuto. A quanti sono in questa disposizione, Gesù offre sè stesso, il “ristoro” della sua carne e del suo sangue, nell’Eucarestia: meravigliosa e vivificante forza d’amore. Ma, avverte la Parola di Dio in una delle lettere di San Paolo, “l’apostolo delle genti” citato così di frequente da Papa Francesco, “chiunque in modo indegno mangia il pane o beve il calice del Signore, mangia e beve la propria condanna!” e “non illudetevi: né immorali, né idolatri, né adulteri, né effeminati, né sodomiti…erediteranno il regno di Dio.” (I^ Lettera ai Corinzi 6:9-10; 11:28-30). Un serissimo, salutare monito per tutti!

Assisi - Una notizia apparentemente di ordinaria quotidianetà, ma con una profonda rilevanza spirituale, e' il decesso della consorte di Massimo Coppo, Jessie, chiamata in comunità Gioia. Massimo Coppo è il "pellegrino di Assisi", di cui la stampa mondiale ha tanto parlato, che durante il recente Conclave e' stato a pregare in Piazza San Pietro sotto la pioggia vestito di sacco e a piedi nudi: con il risultato che è stato eletto Papa il Cardinale Bergoglio, che ha voluto assumere il nome da San Francesco d'Assisi. Gioia, la moglie di Massimo, e' entrata nella vita eterna gridando "Toglietemi le scarpe! Toglietemi le scarpe!", mentre già non le aveva più indosso. Come se, al pari di Mose' che dovette togliersi i sandali dinanzi al roveto ardente, avvertisse di doversi umiliare così alla presenza di Dio, trovandosi su "terra santa".

Senza l’aiuto di Dio vana è la sapienza umana e “i più bravi dei consiglieri del Presidente formano un consiglio stupido”, come si legge nella profezia di Marcello Ciai sul crollo dell’economia (Profetizza!, del 1995)

Abbiamo chiesto a Massimo Coppo come vede il fatto che dal ritorno di Ratzinger in Vaticano, circola questa notizia: abbiamo due Papi al Vaticano. "Forse sarebbe stato meglio - ha detto - se il Papa emerito fosse tornato al Vaticano in un modo più riservato, per non suscitare tanta rumorosità nei media, in linea con quella appartata vita di ritiro e silenziosa preghiera a cui Ratzinger ha detto di volersi dedicare. Per quanto riguarda questa inaudita situazione di un Papa e un ex-Papa che conviveranno al Vaticano, per me e' un ulteriore segno dei tempi: siamo ormai entrati nel tratto finale della storia della Chiesa e del mondo. Preghiamo per questo nuovo Papa Francesco perché dovrà molto soffrire, dicevo a tanti in Piazza San Pietro dove ero stato a pregare durante il Conclave, anche nel suo compito di riparare la Chiesa che già fu di San Francesco."
